Dow drops 4.31%

In today's main blog I wrote about the L.A. earthquake on January 17, 1994. It occurred at 4:31 a.m. and it was 4 years and 3 months after the San Francisco quake on Oct. 17, 1989.
Today the Dow dropped nearly 513 points, or 4.31%.
Coincidence?
What is going on with this number?
